June 28, 2013 – Nashville, TN – FreQ Media Network has launched it's brand new website featuring all original music programming at FreQazoid.com (link). The new media company launched earlier this year under the direction of former Radio & Records Christian music editor Rick Welke.
The network is currently offering up a Retro Rock station and a Teen/Tween Pop station. The newest channel on the network that bows this week is a new music Top 40 station featuring the best new art available on the scene with an urban/pop/electronic core playlist. “The Boom Channel” will allow pop and urban acts that presently have very few opportunities within traditional radio outlets a new platform to gain new listeners and fans.
“Our team is excited to get FreQ Media's online home up and running for everyone to see. It has been developed from the ground up and is eye-catching, while still being a very easy site to move around in,” shares CEO/General Manager Welke. “We're also pleased to champion the freshest music on the Pop/Top 40 scene with a positive lyrical lean on The Boom Channel. There are a lot of excellent artists out there that are finding it difficult to locate outlets for their music, so launching this station is a personal passion of mine. Everyone that loves listening to upbeat Top 40 music is going to eat this new music station up!”
Network channels can be heard on the new FreQazoid.com website and online global radio outlets like ShoutCast and TuneIn.com. Both websites allow the listener to connect to FreQ Media stations via free smartphone apps from anywhere in the world.
